What this site collects, and why.
John Kirker Inc. runs kirker.com. This page explains what information the site collects, what it's used for, and what you can ask me to do with it. I don't sell personal information, and I don't share it for advertising.

What you send me
The contact and conversation forms ask for your name, email, company and role, and whatever you choose to tell me about your business: revenue range, timeline, the problem or decision, your website, and how you found me.
When you book a session
Your card is saved and charged by Stripe. Your card number never reaches my server; I see only what Stripe shows me, such as the card brand and last four digits. I keep a record of the booking terms you agreed to and when.
How the site is used
The site uses Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics to see which pages are read and how people arrive. These set cookies and collect things like pages viewed, device, browser and approximate location.
Server records
Like most sites, the server keeps standard access logs (IP address, the page requested, date and time, browser) for security and troubleshooting.
To answer you
What you send through the forms is used to reply, to prepare for our conversation, and to do the work if we work together. It is held in confidence.
To run the site
Analytics and logs are used to understand what's useful, fix problems and keep the site secure. Not to build advertising profiles.
A few companies process information on my behalf, only to provide their service: Stripe (payments), Amazon Web Services (email delivery), Google (analytics and tag management), Cloudflare (site delivery and security), and my web host. Each has its own privacy terms. I may also disclose information if the law requires it.
Notes and emails from people I don't work with are kept as long as they're useful for a reply or a follow-up, and deleted on request. Client records and payment records are kept as long as the law and good bookkeeping require. Email delivery logs are kept for a limited period.
Ask, correct, delete
You can ask what I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Email [email protected] and I'll respond within 30 days.
California residents
You have the rights the California Consumer Privacy Act gives you, including to know, to delete and to correct your information, and not to be treated differently for asking. I don't sell or share personal information as the law defines those terms.
Cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site still works without them; analytics will simply not count your visit.
Children
This site is for businesses and isn't directed at anyone under 16. I don't knowingly collect information from children.
